Our blower-door test at the LIDL logistics Center in Arcole
We carried out some airtightness testing on the cold rooms and freezers at the new logistics center in the province of Verona. The tested rooms are approximately 110.000m3 in volume and have a heat-dissipating surface of some 34.000m2.
A variety of cold rooms and freezers were inspected at the logistics center to assess their airtightness with a blower door test for large buildings. A leakage inspection was also performed for air leak detection.
Airtightness tests were performed under the requirements of the LEED® standard certification (according to UNI EN ISO 9972:2015 standard) resulting in the extremely performing value of Q50, lower than 0.1 cu.m./h*sqm at a pressure rate of 50Pa.
